8–10 slices of bacon (thinly sliced works best for crispiness)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions:
Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Prepare the Chicken Tenders:
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and onion powder.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken tenders.
Wrap with Bacon:
Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, slightly overlapping as you go. If the bacon slice is too long, trim the excess. Secure the ends with toothpicks if needed.
Air Fry the Chicken Tenders:
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not touch to allow for proper air circulation.
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Cook until the bacon is crispy and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve:
Remove the tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for 2–3 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.
Tips:
For extra flavor, brush the bacon with a bit of barbecue sauce or maple syrup before cooking.
Use thinner bacon for quicker cooking and crispier results.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them up again.
