Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) fresh button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for extra umami flavor)
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tsp fresh thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel. Trim any tough stems if necessary.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce (if using), dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the Mushrooms:

- Air Fry:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the mushrooms are tender and slightly golden.
- Serve:
- Transfer the roasted mushrooms to a serving dish.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
- Optional Additions:
- Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness.
- Pair as a side dish with steak, chicken, or pasta.
