Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the center of each lobster tail shell, stopping just before the tail fin. Pry open the shell and gently lift the meat, laying it on top of the shell.
- Season the Lobster:
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
- Season the lobster meat with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika for color.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the lemon juice and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake the Lobster Tails:
- Brush the garlic butter sauce generously over the lobster meat.
- Place the lobster tails in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the lobster tails.
- Final Touches:
- While the lobster tails are baking, melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter in the same saucepan and keep it warm.
- Once the lobster tails are done, remove them from the oven and brush with the melted butter.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a little extra Parmesan if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve the creamy garlic butter lobster tails immediately, with lemon wedges on the side.
Enjoy these indulgent lobster tails with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or a light salad!
