Ingredients:
Base Layer:
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Topping:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts (for variety)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Base: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Stir until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
