Shrimp and Steak Teriyaki Noodles Recipe
Ingredients:
- For the Marinade:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- For the Noodles:
- 8 oz steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz noodles (udon, soba, or lo mein)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup snow peas
- 1/4 cup sliced onions
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Marinate the Meat:
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Divide the marinade into two portions. Place the sliced steak in one portion and the shrimp in the other.
- Let both marinate for at least 20 minutes, preferably 1 hour.
- Cook the Noodles:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Steak:
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade (discard the marinade) and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- Remove the shrimp from the marinade (discard the marinade) and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Cook the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, carrot, snow peas, and onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Combine and Serve:
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in some extra teriyaki sauce if desired.
- Add the cooked steak and shrimp back to the pan. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
