Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
For the Pizza Dough (or use store-bought vegan pizza crust)
- 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¾ cup (180ml) warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
For the Buffalo Cauliflower
- 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
- ½ cup (120ml) buffalo sauce (make sure it’s vegan)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (for crispiness)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
For the Pizza Toppings
- ½ cup (120ml) pizza sauce or dairy-free ranch
- 1 cup (100g) shredded vegan mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup (50g) red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup (50g) cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
- ½ cup (50g) fresh arugula or chopped cilantro (for garnish)
For the Vegan Ranch Drizzle (Optional but recommended!)
- ½ cup (120ml) vegan mayo
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried dill
- 2 tbsp plant-based milk
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Buffalo Cauliflower
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, toss cauliflower florets with buffalo sauce, olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
Step 3: Assemble the Pizza
- Roll out the dough and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread pizza sauce or vegan ranch evenly over the crust.
- Add shredded vegan cheese, roasted buffalo cauliflower, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.

- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
