Ingredients
For the Beef Tips:
- 2 lbs beef stew meat (or sirloin, cut into chunks)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) brown gravy mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
For the Noodles:
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Beef Tips:
- Add beef chunks to the crockpot.
- Sprinkle in onion, garlic, brown gravy mix, and onion soup mix.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir gently to combine, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Cook the Beef:
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until beef is tender.
3. Thicken the Gravy:
- Mix 2 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water in a small bowl to make a slurry.
